Key Computing started out in 1992 as a home-based, one-on-one computer training business. The owner helped many unemployed gain new skills and executives get a handle on new and emerging office software.
In 1994, the business faced intense and well funded competition and at the "advice" of his fiance the owner decided to get a job and worked for three years as an IT Support Specialist/Programmer for Warner Music Canada. Ironically, it is here that he got the first taste of HTML even though it was only used to create Windows Help files and document management systems through a software called Folio Views.
In 1997 the founder of Key Computing Solutions moved to a small Human Resources software development firm, under contract as a Programmer Analyst. In this role, the ability to work independently and within a team on corporate applications provided new skills and growth in large database applications. Some of the projects were for clients such as Sun Life and Royal Bank.
In 1998 the HR firm began to get more and more requests to move their HR software onto the Internet and it is at that time that Key Computing Solutions was reborn. Gifted with foresight and new skills, the founder new the Internet would be a great trend and resigned form the HR firm.
Today Key Computing Solutions has been in business for over 10 years and has seen many "web firms" vanish in that time frame. We've hit the bottom a couple of times ourselves, but by the grace of God, perseverence and loyal customers we've always managed to pick up the pieces.
Key Computing Solutions is a wiser organization today due to client feedback and solid advisors. We launch into 2009 with a solid foundation and a host of new partnerships, company brands and services.
You can be sure that Key Computing Solutions will be here for many years to come and will always be willing to help you succeed!
Experience they say is the best teacher.
We would like to say "THANK YOU" to our valuable clients who stuck with us through thick and thin.
We are truly grateful for your continued support and business.
